KISS’ previously announced residency at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood on the Las Vegas Strip has been canceled. The shows were set to open December 29 and run through February 5.

Representatives for Zappos Theater say that ticket providers will contact purchasers with refund information and to follow kissonline.com for further details.

The cancellation comes a day after a Rolling Stone story called into question the band’s alleged substandard safety protocols during its U.S. tour.

Crew members, speaking anonymously for fear of retaliation, said the tour “didn’t take strict enough safety measures, which they say sickened several tour workers.”
